Nicholas Berry, a Special Olympics athlete, competes in the standing long jump during the Special Olympics Mississippi 2017 Summer Games May 20, 2017, on Keesler Air Force Base, Miss. This was Berry’s first trip to the state games, where he competed in the 200-meter dash and the standing long jump. He earned a silver medal in the dash and a gold medal in the long jump.
