Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force personnel. The emergence of green upon the blue field represents joint collaboration between Air Force and Army. The spear represents the units’ spearheading the mission by performing vital roles within the Air Force and Army theater of operations. The scroll rolling back on either side of the flying spear tip signifies the joint training efforts toward the use of Airmen to fulfill the joint service solution in the Global War on Terrorism.
